Every business is unique, and our recommendations are tailored to your specific sustainability goals. However, we typically develop short-term goals that help each client work toward a longer-term objective. This allows our clients to allocate any time and financial resources required by their customized sustainability plan.

How do we measure the success of ecoCentric’s services?  
ecoCentric establishes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for every part of your sustainability plan. KPIs establish a benchmark, such as your company’s current waste volume, and measurable goals for improving that benchmark.

In addition, an important indicator of success is your organization’s resolve to act. When every member of your team is committed to investing a small amount of time and energy, even the most basic sustainability plan can produce dramatic results.

Some of the results our clients experience include saving money by reducing energy consumption, reducing landfill contributions by implementing a recycling program, reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions by incentivizing carpooling or public transportation and increasing publicity related to implementing green initiatives.

What level of employee time commitment should we expect to make?
That’s entirely up to you. We recommend that every employee become part of your sustainability efforts, but we work closely with clients to determine the specific action steps that are appropriate for the internal resources that are available. In addition, our staff members are available to help you achieve milestones that may otherwise be limited by internal resources.
